Mechanic - Diesel or Petrol
We are seeking 2 qualified and experienced mechanics to fill full year permanent positions - one based at Whakapapa Ski Area and the other at Turoa Ski Area.
Mechanic - Whakapapa Ski Area
The successful applicant will preferably have experience in diesel mechanics, hydraulics or automotive electrical work. An HT license and experience operating heavy machinery would be preferred.
Mechanic - Turoa Ski Area
The successful applicant will preferrably have experience in diesel mechanics, with some knowledge of hydraulic and automotive electrical systems.
The position involves maintenance of our bus fleet, other vehicles, heavy machinery, snowmobiles and chairlift equipment as well as other general ski area duties.
Opportunities will be provided to gain other driving license classes as well as training and experience in a wide range of equipment.
These positions offer a great variety of work with time spent outdoors as well as in the workshop. you will be required to work in extreme weather conditions at times. For the right people these jobs will open up opportunites within the ski industry worldwide.
