Who can enter?Competitors must be 18 years or over on the day of competition to be eligible. Each of the Export Gold Xtreme ski comp and Relentless Snowboard Challenge have a limit of up to 50 athletes. Athletes must be present at the competitor briefing on each day of the event to be able to compete. BibsBibs wil be handed out at the opening party at Turoa Lodge on Monday 8th September. They will be handed out randomly and will not indicate start order. Bibs must be worn at all times during competition, course inspection and around the venue. Competitors with bibs clearly visible will receive queue privilieges on relevant lifts during course inspection and competition. We expect that competitors be polite and courteous to Mt Ruapehu staff and customers when using this privilege. HelmetsHelmets are compulsory for all competitors. Where to stayWe recommend that those with their own transport stay in Ohakune as all prizegivings and afterparties throughout the competition will be held at Turoa Lodge in Ohakune. Those who do not have their own transport should stay in National Park. Competitors can use RAL staff transport to get to Whakapapa Ski Area from National Park on each day of competition for just $5. If the contingency venue is used transport will be arranged from National Park. Transport will also be available from National Park to Ohakune for the afterparties and prizegivings for $5.
