Lessons

You'll be amazed at how much more enjoyment you'll get out of your skiing/riding after a lesson with one of our instructors. They will show you how to get more performance out of your skis/board, how to handle different terrain and can even get you going on slopes that you never thought possible. Our intermediate and advanced group lessons will get you working on your technique with other skiers/riders of a similar level. And if you're after a bit of one-on-one attention our private lessons will have you improving super quick.

If you're keen to get some regular coaching while still having a lot of fun you should definitely take a look at the various courses and programmes we offer. We have something for everyone, including special weeks for ladies, men and seniors and weekend only courses. You can even train to become an instructor.

For those who want to get off the piste and into the park, we have Freestyle Coaching Weeks coming soon and we'll put up info on those soon. For the girls we also have coaching from some of NZ's biggest names in women's freestyle at the Rip Curl K2 Sista Sessions.

If you're into a bit of telemarking or would like to learn, Whakapapa Ski Area offers telemarking lessons.

And, just for the kids, we have a range of programmes available, including the weekend Flyers/Warriors and Mountain Madness programmes and week-long Kid's Holiday Programmes. Group and private lessons are available at all levels for the kids too.
